This is the every 2 year mandatory AHA Instructor Update.

Topics to be covered:

1.  Requirements

2.  Paperwork

3.  Monitoring Form

4.  Provider Skills and Exam

5.  Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Statement

6.  Verification of 4 classes in 2 years per discipline

7.  Open discussion and sharing of best practices

8.  Enrollware 

New Instructor cards and optional provider cards will be given after all requirements are met

Continuing Education 2, 3, or 4 hours depending on disciplines (RN, RCP, LVN, EMS) can be obtained through AHA precourse self-assessment and video pre-work.  As participants will be teaching and getting monitored no CEs will be offered from Key Medical

Potential Charges

a.  Instructor cards no charge

b.  Optional provider cards BLS $12,  ACLS $17, PALS $17, Heartsaver $24

c.  Annual alignment fee $100 per discipline and no more than $200 for all disciplines

Course Materials

Current course materials are required for each class. Please see course description for details.  There is no sharing or photocopying of class materials.

 

Cancellations/Refunds

Please contact the Key Medical Office if you will not attend a course you have registered for.  If you need to cancel a class, please call 909-980-0126 or email [email protected] and indicate your name, class name, and class date.

No refunds for any course materials you have been provided.  No refunds for a course if any part has been attended.

Sharing or photocopying of class materials is not allowed.  Each student must have their own individual copy of materials.  Materials may be emailed or provided as a hard copy depending on the class.
